Charak Haleezy Tablets
The natural bronchodilator, anti-histaminic and anti-inflammatory
Indications:
- Bronchial asthma
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- Chronic Bronchitis
Suggested Dosage:
- Mild asthma: 1 tablet twice a day for a period of 12 weeks.
- Chronic asthma and COPD: As an add-on therapy: 2 tablets twice a day for a period of 12 weeks.

Do’s
- Learn and practise Matsya Asana
- Follow an ‘early-to-bed, early-to-rise’ routine
- Add a little dried ginger powder to your milk, and fresh ginger to your meals
- Consumption of wheat, barley and garlic is recommended.
- Consumption of honey is recommended.
Don’ts
- Avoid smoking
- Avoid strenuous exercise
- Avoid sleeping during day time
- Avoid exposure to rain, humidity, dust and pollens
- Avoid consuming bananas, citrus fruits, ice-cream, cold drinks and fried foods
Therapeutic Rationale:
Haleezy provides natural bronchodilator, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties. Adhatoda vasica, the main herb in Haleezy, is standardized to 1% Vasicine. Vasicine exhibits respiratory stimulant activity. It exerts anti-inflammatory activity equivalent to hydrocortisone and potent anti-allergic property. Steroidal alkaloid solasodine of Solanum xanthocarpum exerts bronchodilator activity equivalent to deriphylline. Tylophora indica has antiasthmatic, anti-inflammatory, antianaphylactic properties that suppress cellular immune responses. Ocimum sanctum in Haleezy has anti-bacterial activity coupled with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Thus, Haleezy reduces severity, frequency and duration of asthmatic symptoms.
