Bakuchi Oil (Ayurvedic Oil for Psoriasis and Vitiligo)
Bakuchi oil is also called Babchi oil, whilst it’S botanical name is Psoralea corylifolia.
Bakuchi is an Ayurvedic herb. It is found in sandy and dry areas of India. Used in Ayurveda for supporting conditions of Leucoderma and other disorders of the skins. It was shown to improve the color of skin (including removing white spots).
So far as it is known, Psoralea corylifolia is the only oil that has the dual action on both Rouget’S cells and the melanoblastic cells of the skin. In leukoderma, the melanoblastic cells do not function properly and their stimulation by the oil leads them to form and exude pigment. This, in turn, gets gradually diffused into discolorized areas of skin.
Its best to take a warm/hot bath and then after drying yourself, apply the oil and massage it in well for a few minutes on each location.
The reason you take a warm/hot bath is to allow the pores of the skin to open up, therefore making it easier for the oil to get inside where its really affective!
You must expose your skin to sunlight for maximum affect. But you avoid noon time where the sun gives off too much of those harmful UV rays. The best time to expose yourself to the sun is for a few hours after the sun has risen (early) and the couplr of hours before it sets again (late). This is to ensure the least amount of UV rays which is not good for us.

BAKUCHI is an excellent tonic and rejuvenative for the skin. It improves the complexion, restoring the luster to the skin and improving growth of nails and hair. Bakuchi oil applied topically for leucoderma helps stop the spread of discoloration and restores normal skin color. The oil is also good for folliculitus.
